Bridal Alterations

Most completed alterations range $450 to $950 (and up).*

For in-person consultation only, we charge a $35 fee. Alternatively, if you send us an email with the dress name and designer and/or photos of the dress and your anticipated alterations, we could send you a general itemized breakdown.

*In-person consultation may not be available/limited during our peak season (April-September).

We cannot give exact quotes/estimates unless we see the dress/garment on you in person. Prices are dependent on the dress design, fabric, materials, number of layers, what needs to be altered or customized. *Depending on the complexity of some bridal alterations, price can go as high as $1000 or more.

• Standard Alteration services include the following:

  • Hemming

  • Adding bustle points

  • Taking in bodice, sides, shoulders, arms, or center back seams

• Additional services:

  • Additional fees apply for services not part of the Standard Alteration services.

  • Custom changes (which must be approved by the seamstress)

  • These aesthetic changes or additional services may include removing or adding sleeves, lowering/changing back, adding extra lining, changing shape of neckline/hemline, adding cups, adding beads.

  • The seamstress reserves the right to deny requested changes.

** Please note that these price ranges do not include taxes or rush fees.

***Rush fee is $75 and will depend on availability and depth of work needed to be done. Rush alterations (first appointment) are within 3 weeks of wedding/travel date.

**** Additional alterations due to weight loss after the dress alterations have been completed, may result in addition fees.

Bridal entourage & Special Occasions

Most completed entourage and special occasion alterations are $50 and up (price can go as high as $350). Please contact us for pricing.
